Frequently asked questions

Is my data backed up?

Yes. FixMate stores everything on your device by default. Enable iCloud Backup in Settings to mirror your data to your own private iCloud account, or use Local Backup to export/import a file via the Files app, AirDrop, or email. Auto Backup keeps a rolling local safety copy even without iCloud.

Does FixMate work without an internet connection?

Yes. All core features — creating tickets, tracking parts and expenses, generating invoices — work fully offline. An internet connection is only needed for iCloud sync.

How do I restore my data on a new device?

Sign in to the same iCloud account and enable iCloud Backup in Settings — your data syncs automatically. Alternatively, use Local Backup to import a previously exported backup file.

Can I export my data to a spreadsheet?

Yes. The Ledger and Expenses tabs each have a CSV export option in the toolbar, which you can open in Excel, Numbers, or Google Sheets.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are billed and managed entirely through Apple. Go to Settings app → your name → Subscriptions on your iPhone to manage or cancel.

I found a bug. What should I include in my report?

Please email us with your iOS version, the FixMate version (found in Settings → About), and the steps to reproduce the issue. Screenshots help a lot.
